These pieces are designed to generate interest and boost awareness for the museum through a broad, citywide campaign. Inspired by the zoo’s wildlife and scenery, these billboards take viewers on a journey through history, nature and beyond. The first billboard references the early history of the museum’s insect specimens. A larger-than-life array of insects draws the viewer’s eye from left to right, eventually transitioning into the museum’s logo and new location. Whereas the previous board uses historical references, the following set of designs explore the many different aspects of what the museum has to offer through shifts in scenery. Although each one takes place in a different environment, they all come together to form a cohesive look and feel.
